These terms cover your use of this website. They are short because the site is simple: it hosts a browser game and a set of guides, asks nothing of you, and sells nothing.
Using the site
Slow Roads is free to play here. There is no account, no purchase and no subscription. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a rate that degrades it for others, or use it to distribute anything harmful.
The game and who owns it
The Slow Roads game was created by anslo. This site did not make it and claims no ownership of it. The developer's own actively maintained version is at slowroads.io, with a paid desktop edition on Steam.
The written guides, the screenshots and the layout of this site are our own work. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back; please do not republish a guide in full.
No warranty
The site and the game are provided as they are. We do not promise the site will always be available, that the game will run on your particular hardware, or that every guide is free of error. WebGL performance varies enormously between machines and browsers, and some devices will not run the game well at any setting.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using this site, including lost progress. Game settings, seeds and records are stored only in your own browser, and clearing your browser data deletes them. See the privacy policy for exactly what is and is not stored.

Where we link out, that site is under its own terms and privacy policy, not ours.
